Edward C. Spinardi, II Ed joined the firm in 1986, after three years in KPMG San Francisco's audit department. He has extensive experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and estates, as well as financial statement preparation, litigation support, business consulting and trustee services. Ed became a shareholder/owner in 1988 and currently serves as the firm's President and CFO. Born and raised in Merced, Ed attended high school at Bellarmine Prep in San Jose and obtained his bachelors degree from UC Santa Barbara in 1983. Ed's community involvement includes past president of both the Merced Rotary Club and Merced County Estate Planning Council. An avid sports fan, Ed is often found with his wife Karen at one of his teenager's ballgames or following the Oakland Raiders or A's. Ed has recently taken up bicycling and can be seen on lesser travelled County roads on his Giant road bike. Email: ed@obscpa.com Randie Jones Randie joined the firm in 1997, after retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant with 20 years of service in the US Air Force. A Merced resident since 1984, Randie became a shareholder/owner of the firm in 2004. His specialties include tax preparation, tax planning and business management. In his spare time, Randie lifts weights, swims, plays the guitar, is currently learning to play the piano, and creates sawdust as he and his wife Ann remodel their home. Email: randie@obscpa.com Sheila Livingston Sheila has been with the firm since 1993, with a 7 year sabbatical to specialize in high-tech corporate tax at KPMG Silicon Valley, relocate Knight Ridder's corporate tax department from Miami to San Jose, join Solectron Corporation's tax department, then their portal content management group, and finally return to Spinardi & Jones. Sheila is a past treasurer of the Boys and Girls Club of Merced and enjoys blogging, happy hour, and the excitement of learning something new. Email: sheila@obscpa.com Janice K. Jimenez Janice joined the firm in 1996 and specializes in Non-Profit accounting and tax as well as Quickbooks consulting. Janice grew up in Merced, where she earned her 25 years of accounting experience. An active community member, Janice has been a Kiwanis member since 1997 and the Key Club advisor for Merced High School since 1998. Email: janice@obscpa.com Micky Lenehan "Micky is my name and payroll is my game." Micky is a 20 year accounting veteran who joined the firm in 1990. Before coming to Merced in 1985, she worked for Disneyland, Mazda Technical Corporation, and Aircraft Spruce in Orange County, where she was born and raised. Micky is a first generation American, the 2nd of 7 children born to Dutch parent who migrated from Holland in 1947. For fun, Micky loves to play or watch any and all sports, trap shoot, camp, watch and laugh at Reality TV, and take her teenage daughter, Liz, to as many concerts as they can fit into their schedule. Email: micky@obscpa.com Robin Maiorino Robin has been an employee of the firm since 1985, putting her knowledge of Quickbooks and Quicken to good use. Robin is a long-time resident of Dos Palos, where she spends most of her spare time attending her childrens' 4H, FFA and sporting events. She is also involved in fundraising for Sacred Heart Church in Dos Palos and St. Joseph School in Firebaugh. Email: robin@obscpa.com Lana Wright Lana has been in the accounting field since 1981, joining the firm in 1989. Born and raised in Merced, Lana has also lived in San Diego and St. Croix, USVI. A member of the infamous Gonella clan, Lana enjoys cooking and visiting with her nieces and nephews in her spare time. She and her husband Gary are great Giants fans and attend games regularly. Stefani is our first line of defense and Jackie of All Trades. She is the voice on the phone, the person who greets you at the counter, the one who makes your appointment, and the person to cultivate on the off chance you may need a favor one day.
